Hello Cupcake!!!

Friends + Food + Grill = Spring time!!!

Mmmm!!! I just love when spring and summer get here because that means hanging out on our back patio grilling with friends. We kicked things off about two weeks ago with our friends, Cyndi and Clay. We decided to grill hamburgers on our grill and of course we have to double the meat because Randy and Clay are two growing boys.....yes, still at 29 years old they are still growing!!! It is comical when my husband and Clay get together,better wear waterproof mascara! This is the masterpiece that Clay created! Bon Appetite!

Aggravation!!!!

Aggravation! This is a game my family and I have been playing since I was a little kid. Lets just say the makers of the game gave it the perfect title/name. The object of the game is to get all your men(marbles) home before anyone else. You can send other player's back to their base, so you can see where the aggravation would start. Randy and I have taught this game to our

friends, Cyndi and Clay, and we get pretty crazy playing it. We are yelling and laughing at each other having a blast at a game that gives you so much aggravation. One night when my family was playing the game I decided to take some photographs of the game board and show a different view of the game.

My new Backdrop!!! Love It!!

I bought a new backdrop this week and I am loving it! Woohoo!  Here is a portrait that I did over the weekend.  I cannot wait to use it for my next photoshoot.....stay tuned!

   I wanted to take the time and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  My husband and I had a wonderful Christmas with our families.  The one thing that we happened to miss was all of the snow that Dallas/Fort Worth received! All of our friends were sending us pictures of their white Christmas and wishing that we were at our house to see it.  

   I wanted to share my New Year's resolutions with you:  more blogging, more photos to my website, and more business!  I have not been very disciplined on blogging or updating my website! LOL!  So to kick things off for 2010, I will be running some great specials so keep your eyes open because you will not want to miss it.

Calling all Models! Take 1!

I have some ideas for some photographs I want to do and I need a variety of models! Please contact me if you are interested. If you don't fit the criteria but you have an idea you want me to photograph of you, contact me! I'm game for anything new and interesting! Here is a few of types of models I need! Contact me either through my website or my facebook which is Crystal Marshall and right now I have a silhouette pic of myself up. If you have any questions just let me know.

2. children: I want to do some real funky stuff so if you want to do this let me know.

Yes, I'm still alive!

Yes, I'm still alive! I have been busy this summer I forget to blog! Updates: I'm having a great summer with my hubby and friends, Cyndi and Clay, and Chad and Lindsay. We are goin to Fredricksburg at the end of the month with family. I am working on setting up some photo shoots so I can finally get my ideas "down on paper!" Shhhh! It's a secret but the shoot will be awesome! I am running some summer photo specials so if you are interested contact me through my website!

"Bob Dylan"Shoot

Friday I called some friends up to do a photo shoot for me.  I wanted to do something with a theme....if that's what you want to call it.  When we were discussing what I ideas I had, I found out from my friend that her husband liked Bob Dylan and he had this book of photographs of the singer.  My little light bulb lit up!!   My idea went from a vintage style photo shoot to a  Bob Dylan theme shoot!  Check out some of my images!

California

Back in January Randy and I got to take a trip out to San Diego, California.  It was gorgeous on the west coast and I am ready to go back!  I took my old camera with me so that I would not hurt my brand new camera.  The next trip I will use my new camera!!!!  Randy and I went to the beach and we were able to see the seals sun bathing.  The seals come to La Jolla Beach to birth their pups and they stay there several months to train the pups on feeding.  Around January Blue Whales also migrate to the West Coast for feedings.   We didn't get to see the whales...bummer!  That means we are going to have to take another trip back to California!   We also went to the wine country for Southern California.  We had a blast doing this and all of the vineyards are side-by-side, which we thought was very interesting.  We thought that they would be more spread out but they were all right next to each other so that was fun being able to visit more than one winery.  We also went to the Aquarium in San Diego and got to see the kelp, if that's what is called, that grows off the shoreline of California.  It's pretty weird looking at it growing in an aquarium.  Here are some photographs I took, enjoy!

Hello!

I finally got my blog set up!  WooHoo!  It was all possible because of my sister-in-law Holly. Thanks Holly!  I have been meaning to do this since I got my new website up and running.... so I'm just a little delayed.  I will try to blog each day but I'm not positive that will happen because thats me!  LOL!  My business has being doing well but not where I want it...."gotta" have your goals set high!
